Account Signup
In order to post to the Anon-DIT comments, you will need a free account. To discourage people from
registering several accounts, I have implemented a policy whereby I need to approve new usernames before they can be used to post.
That approval process may take anywhere from a couple of minutes to a few hours, depending if I am on the computer or not.
However, if you have a TotalFark account, your Anon-DIT account approved immediately if you use the same username as you do on
TotalFark. There is a simple verification process if you request a username that exists on TotalFark to ensure that it's yours.
Your email address is optional, but, if you don't provide it, I can't send
you your password if you forget it, and I can't reset it for you. I don't
give your email address to anyone for any reason. I don't spam you. I may,
from time to time, send you an email about new features on Anon-DIT.
I can't guarantee that this website is hackproof, although I do encrypt passwords using MD5.
However, I still recommend you use a different password than you do on TotalFark.
